Dr. Chunn is a board eligible Internal Medicine physician with over 7 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of health needs. Dr. Chunn grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Mt. Pisgah Academy. He received his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama and his M.D. from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Chunn completed three years of residency training in Internal Medicine at Nashville Metro General Hospital and Meharry.

Following his residency training, Dr. Chunn practiced as a hospitalist at area hospitals and currently practices Emergency Medicine for the St. Thomas Regional hospitals as well as Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, TN.

Dr. Chunn’s medical experience ranges from Primary Care medicine to Emergency Care medicine as he has worked in both hospital settings. Dr. Chunn’s broad range of experience, knowledge, and commitment to effective medical treatment provide a strong foundation for providing the best care possible to his patients. Dr. Chunn values the patient-physician relationship and will work with his patients to achieve optimal health.
Dr. Chunn lives in Nashville with his wife and four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching sports and movies, and working in his yard.
